Organic Aromas Wintergreen Essential Oil Recall
300 bottles of Organic Aromas Wintergreen Essential Oil are being recalled by Organic Aromas of Boise, Idaho.
According to report, the products have methyl salicylate. Moreover, Organic Aromas’ Wintergreen Essential Oil is not child-resistant when it comes to packaging. Thus, the product doesn’t meet the requirements set by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. Due to this, the product being recalled can pose risks of poisoning.
As of this time, the company hasn’t received any reports of injuries linking to the product.
The specific products being recalled are the Organic Aromas Wintergreen Essential Oil in 10-mL, 30-mL, and 50-mL amber glass bottles with white or black caps.
Furthermore, the reports state that the company name “Organic Aromas,” their logo, and “Wintergreen Pure Essential Oil,” together with the volume amounts are printed on the white label. This recall also includes the 2-mL size that was sold as part of a set of sample sizes of assorted oils called the “Discovery Collection,”
Moreover, “WNTRGRN” is also indicated on a green label on the cap with the logo on the side of the package.
These oils that were manufactured in Taiwan were retailed online at www.organicaromas.com from November 2017, through January 2020, for between $12 and $84.

What You Need To Do
Customers who purchased the product are encouraged to immediately keep the product out of children’s reach. Then, consumers should call Organic Aromas to get store credit for the original purchase price. They can also opt for a replacement with any other essential oil of choice in the same size as the original purchase.
The company will also inform all known consumers of the essential oil product.
