Vthrive Bioactive Multivitamin Recall Due to Child-Resistant Packaging

The Vitamin Shoppe Vthrive Bioactive Multivitamin Recall

8,200 bottles of Vthrive Bioactive Women’s One-Daily Multivitamins are being recalled by The Vitamin Shoppe because of its “not child-resistant” packaging.

According to reports, the recalled product has a package that doesn’t meet the regulations of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. Since the capsules contain iron, it could lead to serious injury or death to young children if several tablets are taken all at once.

As of this time, the company hasn’t received any reports.

This recall includes The Vitamin Shoppe’s Vthrive Bioactive Women’s One-Daily Multi vitamins packaged in an amber bottle with a gray top.

Moreover, the “Vthrive and Bioactive Women’s One-Daily Multi” is printed on a blue label on the bottle.

At the back of the bottle is the item number VS-6104. Meanwhile, lot number 006218, 006454, 006495 or 006779 can be found on the bottle’s underside. Specifically, this recall is limited to the 60-count bottles.

This recalled product is manufactured in the US. Moreover, this has been sold at The Vitamin Shoppe stores nationwide and online at and from November 2019, through April 2020, for between $26 and $35.
