Kids’ brand UPPAbaby has announced that they would be recalling more than 86,000 RumbleSeat products due to them posing a risk on children while at use.
Posted on the official site of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission or CPSC, UPPAbaby has decided to recall their RumbleSeat infant seat product after testing showed that it may cause harm to young children that are using them.
What Is Behind The Defect
It is reported that the RumbleSeat’s adapters have a risk of detaching from their latch. This results in a loose strap that may otherwise not protect children from falling off their infant seats.
As of writing, there were reported incidents of cases involving children suffering to a plethora of injuries ranging from broken noses, bumps, and others when the RumbleSeat’s adapters accidentally detach from their adapters.
