The Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips Recall; Are Your Affected?
The risk of salmonella contamination has made Seneca Snack Company announce its recall of the Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips and Clancy’s Cinnamon Apple Chips.
According to reports, the products may be contaminated with Salmonella
Despite the risks, the company hasn’t received any reports of consumer illness as of this time.
This recall includes the following products:
- Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips, 0.7-oz. Package, UPC: 0 18195-70140 4, Individual Package Code 26JUN2021
- Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips, 2.5-oz. Package, UPC: 0 18195-70100 8, Individual Package Code 28JUN2021
- Clancy’s Cinnamon Apple Chips, 2.5-oz. Package, Individual Package Codes 26JUN2021, 27JUN2021
According to the company, the Seneca products were distributed nationwide through Amazon and Gemline. Meanwhile, Clancy’s product was retailed by ALDI.
