Royal Gourmet Grills Recall
You heard it here first, folks: Around 1,100 Royal Gourmet Grills were recalled by the Royal Gourmet Corporation of Norcross, Ga for potential risk of the grill’s plastic regulator hose melting and catching fire, thereby posing a fire hazard.
Six incident reports have already been received by the firm and involved the grill catching fire, though no injuries have been reported yet.
The recall was made for the Royal Gourmet Patio 2-Burner deluxe gas grills with a porcelain cast iron firebox housing two stainless steel burners and delivering 24,000 total BTUs, as well as two shelves.
The recalled units have the following model numbers:

Consumers can find the model numbers on the bottom base of the gas grills.
The grills were manufactured in China and only exclusively sold online at Wayfair.com from August, 2017, through November 2019, for about $240.
