Newmar Corporation Makes Another Recall
By Consider The Consumer on 11/02/2016
Newmar Corporation is recalling 15 model year 2017 King Aire motorhomes manufactured January 22, 2016, to October 4, 2016. These recalled vehicles are equipped with WABCO OnGuard collision mitigation radar which may have been mounted upside down on the front lower bumper, resulting in decreased performance. If the collision mitigation radar has reduced performance, there may be an increased risk of a crash.
This of course comes in the wake of another recall made by the company. You may read about that here.
Newmar has stated that they will notify owners, and dealers will check the orientation of the OnGuard radar and, if necessary, correct the orientation, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 23, 2016. Owners may also contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
