On January 4, 2019, Kohn, Swift & Graf is currently investigating the recent Kotex recall of the regular absorbency “U by Kotex Sleek” tampons.
“U by Kotex Sleek” Tampons May Disintegrate During Normal Use
The company recalled the product after announcing that it may disintegrate internally, causing infections, irritation, and injury.
The recall was limited to specific lots of regular absorbency U by Kotex Sleek Tampons in the United States and Canada, manufactured between October 7, 2016, and October 16, 2018, and distributed between October 17, 2016, and October 23, 2018. Kotex has advised consumers to stop using the product immediately, and retailers have been instructed to remove it from shelves.
