Ground Turkey Meat Recall 2021 – USDA Recalled Turkey Meat Across The Country Over Salmonella…

US Authorities Order Recall Of Turkey Meat Products Due To Fears Of Salmonella Contamination

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released a recall alert on a series of ground raw turkey meat products over concerns that they may have been contaminated with Salmonella.

USDA-Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA-FSIS) officials have ordered the recall of a handful of Plainville Brands, LLC ground raw turkey products for fears that it may cause Salmonella Hadar to anybody that would consume them.

A report conducted by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) echoed the USDA’s concerns after it has found out that 28 individuals got sick with Salmonella Hadar across twelve states all across the United States.

They were all forced to seek medical attention, and no deaths were reported.

The outbreak of Salmonella Hadar in different US states was directly linked to the consumption of certain Plainville Brands turkey ground meat products.

Though they are already not available on store shelves nationwide, officials are still concerned that many consumers may still have them stored in their refrigerators and freezers.

This poses a high risk of consuming an unknowing consumer, and they will get sick because of it.

To know whether your ground raw turkey product is a part of the recall, check out the following brands listed below:
