The 2020 Ford Expedition Recall
Recently, the Ford Motor Company has announced its recall of 123 model year 2020 Expeditions. According to reports, the company issued the recall because of its seat belt tension sensor.
The issue in the seat belt tension sensor is that it could falsely classify a child occupant as an adult.
In an event of a crash, a wrong classification would let the passenger airbag to deploy instead of disabling it. Thus, posing a higher risk of injury to the seat occupant.
