Firefly Integrations Multiplex G9 Unit Recall; Are You Affected?
It has been reported that Firefly Integrations recalls 2,682 Multiplex G9 units. These units were utilized for controlling equipment and accessories in motorhomes.
According to reports, an excessive voltage can highly affect the unit, which can lead to the components on the board being damaged.
Moreover, once an excessive voltage is used to the unit and breaks the circuit board, it could pose risks of fire.
What You Need To Do
Firefly already informed the RV manufacturers that have bought the affected multiplex units. Meanwhile, dealers for those RV manufacturers will take charge of adding circuit module to the existing component board to provide reverse polarity and over-current protection.
