More on the Coachmen Catalina Recall
Recently, eight model year 2021 Coachmen Catalina CAT261BHS-8 and CAT263BHSCKLE recreational trailers are being recalled by Forest River.
According to reports, the trailer’s exterior griddle was created with a six-foot hose. This length lets the griddle to be stored in the vehicle with an open flame.
If a griddle is stored while it has an open flame, the risks of a vehicle fire increases.
What You Need To Do
As of this time, the said vehicles weren’t sold to any consumers yet.
To solve the issue, Forest River dealers are tasked to install a three-foot hose instead of the six-foot-one free of charge.
Meanwhile, for concerned consumers, they can call Forest River customer service at (574) 825-4995. Forest River’s number for this recall is 103-1227.
