If you purchased Kona Brewing Company beer because you thought it was brewed in Hawaii, you are not alone.  An ongoing false advertising investigation is looking into the deceptive labeling that suggests the beer is brewed in Hawaii.

Mophie Battery iPhone Case Class Action Lawsuit

This lawsuit claims that the Mophie iPhone 6 Juice Pack Plus for the iPhone 6/6s is advertised as extending the battery life of iPhones, when in fact it damages the internal battery of the phone, significantly reducing its battery life and impacting the usability of the device without Mophie product attached.

Herr’s Slack Fill Class Action Lawsuit

When a consumer purchases food, he or she expects to receive the amount that is labeled on the package.  This lawsuit claims that Herr Foods Incorporated, or “Herr’s,” violates the Federal Food Drug & Cosmetic Act by selling products with non-functional slack-fill.

Texas Farmers Auto Insurance FSPA Class Action Lawsuit

This class action lawsuit claims that Farmers Texas County Mutual Insurance Company (Farmers Texas) offered the “Farmers Smart Plan Auto” (FSPA) to new customers while hiding the plan to current and loyal customers that were stuck in plans that charged significantly higher premiums.

Caterpillar Emissions Control Class Action Settlement

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that CAT’s exhaust emission control (CRS) failed to work reliably, causing its EPA Compliant Caterpillar On Highway C13 and C15 engines to lose horsepower and shut down.  The CAT-authorized dealer technicians were not able to effectively repair many of the subject engines, requiring frequent repairs.

BB&T Force-Placed Insurance Class Action Settlement

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that when a borrower was required to have insurance for his or her property pursuant to a residential mortgage or home equity loan or line of credit, and evidence of acceptable coverage was not provided, BB&T would place insurance in a manner such that BB&T allegedly received an unauthorized benefit.

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that certain barbecue grills, with model numbers 01566, 03495, 16142, 16154, 23673, 23676, 23681, 23682, 23683, 23766, 34172, 34176, 34178, 34308, and 34611, sold by Sears were manufactured with rebox trays made out of galvanized steel, making the trays defective and resulting in them rusting and failing prematurely.

Mobile Content Spam Text TCPA Class Action Settlement
