Apple iPhone 13 Release Date In September, 2021? iPhone 13’s Review, Specs, Prices…

Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the iPhone 13

iPhone 13 Release Date

With announcing new phone models, iPhone seems to be quicker in following up on the latest model they unveil. Rumors quickly spread on the internet about Apple’s iPhone 13 release date, even if it’s scheduled to be unveiled later this year (2021).

The new model is expected to come out in a few months or fall this year, but rumors have been circulating on its specifications and upgrades compared to the old ones. There’s even talk that Apple is looking to build 25% more iPhone 13 units in 2021 than iPhone 12 earlier.

Apple may be secretive when it comes to announcements on new models or ideas, but there’s no shortage of rumors and leaks, especially with the iPhone 13 release date.

The latest iPhone 13 release date seems to be by September 2021, and there is a slew of upgrades that are thought to be included with the new iPhone 13.

There are talks about the new iPhone 12S, but people expect Apple to reveal the new iPhone 13 by September 2021. There are different iPhone 13 leaks and rumors to sift through, but people are getting a clear picture of what it could look like.

Rumors have started even before Tim Cook had revealed the launch of the iPhone 12 in 2020, and one feature that is highly speculated to come back is the Touch ID. There are claims that Face ID just doesn’t cut it as there have been several issues that arose, especially in Southeast Asia.

iPhone’s Face ID vs. Touch ID

A researcher once showed how Apple’s Face ID can be fooled with a 3D printer, silicone, and paper tape when the iPhone X was introduced in 2017.

Face ID works almost as fast as Touch ID, but that’s about it. It’s a bit more complicated, and you can say goodbye as well to stealthily unlocking your phone when you didn’t want to be seen using it.

There were also reports that it doesn’t work well in some lighting conditions.

Several YouTube videos have also been circulating that it has some flaws, including a child opening his mother’s iPhone with his face.

Apple’s TouchID is a sensor that will scan the owner’s fingerprint, read and recognize it so they can use their phones.

It’s a fingerprint sensor that was first introduced in 2013 and included in the home button, where people will find it in most Touch ID-enabled devices.

What People Can Look Forward to About the 2021 iPhone 13

iPhone 13 Predictions: According to Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo works at TF International Securities, a financial services group in the Asia-Pacific region. A prominent Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has over 10 years of experience writing about Apple with data from the supply chain.

Although Tim Cook, Apple CEO, insisted that supply chain-sourced data is not a good way to make predictions, Kuo’s track record is excellent. Kuo’s predictions often include device-specific details and specifications, along with particular points such as the color, size, chipsets, and ports.

The iPhone 13 is claimed to have better ultra-wide cameras at f 1.8 and 6P compared to current cameras at f2.4 5P. This means the 6P lens or the six-element lens improves image quality better as it heightens the light transmission rate versus what the older models have.

There are also rumors circulating that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max will have a new 6-element ultrawide lens and autofocus option. There are also claims that Apple is searching for suppliers for a folded lens camera that will help improve iPhone 13’s optical camera zoom.

Its periscope-like design means its telephoto lens will be vertically stacked, and people can maximize the optical magnification without the need to increase the size of the phone.

Rumors also talk about the iPhone 13 camera being upgraded, that it can better shoot the sky at night or with low light, and make better portrait mode videos.

Along with its upgraded ultra-wide camera, all iPhone 13 models may facilitate a dedicated astrophotography mode.

Kuo also predicts that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max will have larger apertures on their ultra-wide cameras. He also said that the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s sensor-shift optical image stabilization will also be on the iPhone 13 Pro Max along with the 13 Pro.

The last addition would include LIDAR sensors on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini instead of just the Pro models.

The iPhone 12 models’ charging speed maxes out at 20W, and there’s no latest news yet if there’ll be any changes this year. Also, the iPhone 13 may not likely include reverse wireless charging.

That means the charger for the iPhone 13 won’t be able to charge Apple products such as the AirPods Pro, Apple Watch, or the iPad Pro.

A new patent also unveiled the MacBook Pro MagSafe charger that is compatible with the next iPhone models.

If this comes to fruition, this can replace the lightning port with an entirely new charging system held in place by magnets. People can then charge their phones with no wires and can still benefit from the security of a cable that might break when someone trips over it.

But here’s the catch: the best the iPhone 12 can get from a MagSafe Charger is 15 watts. That’s almost twice as fat as Qi charging’s a max of 7.5 watts with Apple models, but less than the 18 watts of power in the iPhone 11 Pro’s power adapter.

After a few tests with the 20-watt charger, a lightning port can charge an empty iPhone 12 to 57% in half an hour, but with MagSafe charging, it can only bring the charge up to 32%.

Apple iPhone 12 vs. Apple iPhone 13

It seems it was only yesterday that Apple launched the iPhone 12 series, and now news about the iPhone 13 is already circulating. Let’s put the two against each other to help people decide if they need to get a new phone or not.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted the iPhone 13 release date early last year. Accordingly, Apple may roll out the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max models coming September 2021.

There were low sales numbers for the iPhone 12 mini after it was unveiled, so there may not be an iPhone 13 mini. But some people still expect Apple to roll one out as the iPhone 12 mini is currently the best small phone.

As there are talks that the iPhone 13 will be a customary upgrade to the iPhone 12, the pricing may not be too far from each other.

The 5.4 inch iPhone 13 mini would then start at $699 with 64 GB, 6.1 inch iPhone 13 at $799 with 64 GB, 6,1 inch iPhone 13 Pro at $999 with 128 GB, and the 6.7 inch 13 Pro Max at $1,099 with 128 GB.

The iPhone 13 price for the mini and iPhone 13 may change if Apple upgrades the storage, especially if the possibility of the Pro models having a 1 TB storage pushes through.

The iPhone 12 series also boasts OLED displays for all four models, which have better colors, among other benefits. There’s still more to expect from the iPhone 12 series’ Super Retina XDR OLED panels.

The iPhone 12 screens have a lackluster refresh rate and Always On Display compared to the Galaxy S21 series, and they are all locked at 60 frames-per-second (fps) or 60 Hz. There are leaks that the iPhone 13 Pro series will have a 120Hz refresh rate with a 120 FPS. This means smoother gameplay and use.

The OLED panels’ individual pixels can be disabled, which lets them make deep blacks on screens. Compared to most Android phones with OLED displays, they have the AOD.

This is a low-power mode that lets the user know some important details on android phones. Depending on the phone, it may show unique items on the screen, but most devices will show the time and unread notifications.

There are rumors that the newest iPhone could get an AOD, but it would still depend on Apple.

Some people, including Jon Prosser, predict that Apple may have a smaller notch at the top of the display, which houses the Face ID tech. It will be a wonderful change, as some customers find it unsightly. Like Kuo’s predictions, the iPhone 13 design may have the first one to have a smaller notch.

He became famous in early 2020 when he got the details right for the new iPhone SE a few weeks before it was launched. Regardless of the ever-changing release dates and prices, Jon Prosser has a wonderful record of nailing down product details. His followers are eagerly waiting on his predictions for the iPhone 13 release date.

Prosser started out as a YouTube personality centering on the tech niche, but that changed after the Apple event in September 2019.

By October 2020, he had accumulated a strong accuracy rating when he got the iPhone 12 release dates right and that he knew the 120Hz won’t be in the final version.

The camera on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 Pro makes use of three lenses, a wide-angle 12MP f/1.6, an ultrawide 12MP f/2,4, and a 12MP telephoto with an f/2.0 aperture.

The iPhone 12 Pro has 2x zoom, and the 2.5x zoom is available on the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini doesn’t have the telephoto lens and LIDAR time-of-flight sensor.

There are also rumors that the iPhone 13’s reported periscope camera for a better zoom option will be included to compete with the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s unbelievable zoom capabilities.

Nothing is set yet for the iPhone 13, but Kuo has an excellent track record with his predictions. There may be nothing concrete yet since we’re months away from the release date of September 2021, but because of the pandemic, it might lead to more rumors than usual.

iPhone 13 or iPhone 12s

iPhone 13 may be the name of Apple’s newest phone, but since they went from iPhone 11 to iPhone 12 last year, there are speculations that it might come out as the iPhone 12s.

This method is an old form that Apple used before, alternating between a new model number and an s version of the same phone for next year, such as the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11s. It was last done with the iPhone 6s revealed in 2015.

It also means that the s model has a lot in common with the previous year’s version, except for some improvements.

Kuo also predicts that the iPhone 13 lineup will have the same models as the iPhone 12 lineup. They’ll all have lightning connectors and will make use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X60 modem that provides different 5G network updates.

It packs a lot of power efficiency into a smaller footprint, and as it’s built on a 5nm process compared to the 7nm-based Snapdragon X55 that the iPhone 12s used, it may contribute to a longer life for the battery.

With the X60, Apple iPhone 13 could also aggregate 5G data from both mmWave and sub-6GHz bands at the same time to get an optimal combination of high speed and low latency network coverage.

By 2022, Apple may most likely make use of the X65 modem for the next iPhone 13.
