Whole Foods Offering Free Six Course Meals in Select Cities

Whole Foods is starting off the year with their one time event, “Little Italy.” Whole Foods will be offering free six course Italian meals in four select US cities, New York, Los Angeles, Austin and Atlanta. These meals will also be paired with wine and prosecco. 


Reservations for the event open Thursday at noon. A spokesperson for Whole Foods, in a press release, said that there is an unlimited waitlist, so they encourage early wait list sign ups. If those who registered cancel their reservation, the next person o the wait list will be added to the event list, be notified by an email.

In addition to Master Sommelier Devon Broglie and World Cheese Awards judge Cathy Stange, cheese and prosciutto makers from Italy will be hosting the Whole Foods event. “Our dedicated team members travel throughout Italy to bring the finest traditionally-produced Italian items to Whole Foods Market stores, and we’re excited to offer these authentic products together on a dinner menu for one night only,” Cathy Strange, who is also Whole Foods Market’s vice president of specialty, said in a press release. 

The events menu will include delicious dishes like cacio e pepe, beef osso buco with moscato, and roasted cavolo nero, radicchio, and cauliflower, and paired wines include Monterustico Bianco and Criterion Pinot Grigio.
