Fan-To-Fan Resale Site, or Ticketmaster to Scalper Scam?
That’s right! We have received word that Ticketmaster has been selling your tickets directly to scalpers. The prominent, nationwide Law Firm, Levi & Korsinsky, LLP has notified us that they are investigating potential claims against Ticketmaster and Live Nation Entertainment for their engagement in a scheme to sell event tickets directly to scalpers for resale on Ticketmaster’s fan-to-fan resale sites. Learn more about the Ticketmaster To Scalper Scam here.
These practices, allegedly, allow Ticketmaster to make money from its primary site (www.ticketmaster.com) while also earning kickbacks or additional payments from scalpers who sell the tickets on Ticketmaster’s resale sites.
What Can I Do About this?
If you have purchased tickets from Ticketmaster’s fan-to-fan resale sites, such as TicketMaster.com/verified, TicketExchangeByTicketmaster.com or TicketsNow.com, please contact the folks at Levi & Korsinsky to learn more about your rights as a consumer.
