Ticketmaster Has Been Selling Your Tickets Directly To Scalpers

Fan-To-Fan Resale Site, or Ticketmaster to Scalper Scam?

That’s right! We have received word that Ticketmaster has been selling your tickets directly to scalpers. The prominent, nationwide Law Firm, Levi & Korsinsky, LLP has notified us that they are investigating potential claims against Ticketmaster and Live Nation Entertainment for their engagement in a scheme to sell event tickets directly to scalpers for resale on Ticketmaster’s fan-to-fan resale sites. Learn more about the Ticketmaster To Scalper Scam here.

These practices, allegedly, allow Ticketmaster to make money from its primary site (www.ticketmaster.com) while also earning kickbacks or additional payments from scalpers who sell the tickets on Ticketmaster’s resale sites.

I see tickets on their verify resale site also includes Vivid for sale before tickets are even on sale sometimes weeks in advance how can they sell me tickets if they haven’t even been printed yet big problem here in Detroit for a Greta Van Fleet concert all three shows sold out in minutes but yet there are thousands of tickets on sale on resale sites which includes Vivid

In the Netherlands Ticketmaster keeps good tickets behind that -when a block is sold out- are then offered as ‘Platinum tickets’ for double (or more) the original price. They want you to believe that ‘these wanted seats are now sold out but we still have a few of these left’. When ‘premium seats’ sold well in the pre-sale, the next day during the regular sale the regular tickets were now suddenly listed as ‘premium seats’ too where it were cheaper tickets in the pre-sale…. People are furious when scalpers buy and resell tickets for more than the original price but Ticketmaster has a few of these tricks too and those appear to be fully legal although a MAJOR rip off…..
