For most people AAA Motor Club membership costs on average $80+ for the Classic/Basic membership tier, with higher tiers costing more. Did you know that $80+ does more than just offer you roadside assistance? Here are eight benefits you get with your AAA membership that you may not be aware of:
1. Locksmith Services
For Classic/Basic members, this benefit covers up to $75 towards lockouts for your car. For higher tier memberships, it is up to $100. Premium members get up to $100 for home lockouts.
2. Retail Discounts
Did you know that AAA not only helps you to save on travel and hotels, but you can also save on everyday shopping? Members can get up to 40% off Nike, Lowes, Home Depot and up to $200 off select items at Walmart.
3. Restaurants
Use your AAA membership to save on gift certificates through restaurants.com and get discounts at an number of other select restaurants. For a full list, contact your local AAA office.
4. Pet Discounts
Yes! Purchase products for your pets and get discounts at Pets Best, Petco, Kurgo, VetShop, PetCareRX and more.
5. Electronics
AAA can help you save 35% or more on these big ticket items by HP, Dell, and Symantec. You can save up to $400 on Microsoft products and get free membership or renewal on Sprint plans. There are also free trials available on many products, games and apps.
6. Eyewear
Save up to 30% on select products and services at LensCrafters and up to 25% on select products at glasses.com.
7. Cruises
Some home clubs will take 15% or more off select cruises and offer discounts on food, beverages and other cruise add-ons.
8. Sporting Events
Score big discounts on season tickets and tickets to individual games and events. Check with your local club for availability.
