The Ram Recall: Have You Purchased a Ram Pickup Truck?
If yes, make sure to read on because this article is for you! Recently, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling more than 186,000 Ram 1500 pickup trucks equipped with all-weather floor mats, and adjustable pedals.
Why Did FCA Issue the Ram Recall?
According to reports, the truck’s pedals could become stuck to the all-weather floor mats while driving. Fiat Chrysler also made a separate recall for more than 43,000-floor mats, for a similar cause.
FCA has revealed that as of this week, they have not heard of any crashes or injuries regarding this issue. However, they deemed it wise to issue a recall after a driver confirmed that the floor mat of his pickup truck hampered the accelerator pedal while driving. They also added that this particular driver was able to stop his car, avoiding any accident, injury, etc.
