Perdue is recalling more than 31,703 pounds of ready-to-eat refrigerated chicken nuggets, strips and tenders. According to the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the recall has been announced because the products contain bone.
All recalled products have a use-by date of May 20, 2019. They are no longer being sold in stores. However, some customers may still have the product in their freezers.
These Perdue products are fully cooked from the company’s Simply Smart Organics line and include gluten-free breaded chicken breast tenders, whole-grain breaded chicken breast nuggets and whole-grain breaded chicken breast strips.
Existing packages have the lot number “P-369” and were shipped to stores across the country. Additional product recalls are for:
