Nature’s One is recalling its PediaSmart SOY Vanilla Beverage Mix due to an undeclared allergen on the label. Although no illnesses have been reported at this time, the recall is a precautionary measure for those who have a milk allergy or sensitivity and could have a serious or life-threatening reaction.
PediaSmart SOY Vanilla Beverage Mix is a powdered mix sold in 12.7 oz canisters and was sold in online and through medical supply retailers. The label, as it was sold (below), does not list milk as an ingredient. The correct label should read “contains milk.”
The product was sold nationwide. According to the FDA, it was not available in stores. Specific lot numbers affected by the recall are available on the FDA website.
Consumers can return the the product to Nature’s One for either a replacement or refund by calling 888-227-7122 or by sending an email to email@example.com.
