More Losartan Recalls Due to Cancer Chemical Contamination

Torrent Pharmaceutical Limited is recalling a certain number of lots of their Losartan Potassium tablets, according to the FDA. The medication is being recalled over contamination with a chemical linked to cancer.

Patients are advised to continue using the medication because the risk of stopping it may be higher without alternative treatment in place. However, patients are also advised to discuss alternative treatments with their doctors.

The lots of Losartan included in this recall are the following:
