There are plans to add over 400 jobs at Stanley Black and Decker.
The company is looking to invest $8.5 million, building new office space at Greenleigh at Crossroads in White Marsh-Middle River. This expansion will bring the company’s total employment in Maryland alone to approximately 2,700.
Stanley Black and Decker currently employs over 1,600 people ar their Global Tool and Storage division headquarters in Towson, Maryland.
The new building in White Marsh will house positions in electrical and electromechanical engineering, digital and brand marketing, industrial design, finance, and human resources, with the average annual salary being at about $60,000.

ABC2 reports that Baltimore County is providing a $200,000 conditional loan to assist the company with project costs. Support of a resolution related to a Maryland State loan will be discussed at a County Council work session February 13, 2018.
