Hillsdale Furniture is recalling the Chadwick and Bailey five-drawer chests sold at Bob’s Discount Furniture and other retailers. The chests pose a hazard to children and others as they are unstable and can tip over if not anchored to the wall, leading to entrapment that can result in death or injuries.
The chests came in in white, mission oak, espresso and dove gray. “Hillsdale Furniture” is printed on a label on the back. Chests measure 48 inches tall by 36 inches wide by 17 inches deep, according to the recall notice.
Consumers are urged to stop using any the chest and to place it in an area away from children. Remedy options or this product “include a free self-install repair kit, free in-home installation of repair kit, free pick-up of the chest, or a refund” according to the recall notice.

No accidents or injuries have been reported as a result of this recall.
