A folding bed sold online is being recalled for a fire hazard. The bed is sold through Amazon, Walmart and Rakuten and is made by Factory Direct Wholesale. It is the foldable mattress pictured below.
About The Recall
CPSC issued the recall report and found that the mattresses failed to meet the federal flammability safety standards. Thus was the reason for the recall.
The recall details are s follows:
- Factory Direct Wholesale folding mattresses which can be used as a chair or bed .
- The gray mattresses were sold in 38 (twin), 53 (full), and 60 (queen) inches wide sizes.
- They measure 4 inches high when configured as a mattress. Factory Direct Wholesale.
- Made in China and model number FDW-RJ-38Q, FDW-RJ-53F or FDW-RJ-60Q can be found on the tag on the side of the mattress.
Consumers should stop using the recalled mattresses and contact Factory Direct Wholesale for a free cover to bring the mattress into compliance or to return it for a refund. Contact Factory Direct Wholesale at 800-631-0449, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or online at paylesshere.com.
