Blendtopia Products, LLC is recalling 29,078 cases of their 7 ounce frozen Superfood Smoothie Kits due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the FDA recall notice.
The smoothies included in the recall are: Blendtopia brand “Glow”, “Detox”, “Energy”, “Immunity” and “Strength” Superfood Smoothie Kits. Affected products will have a “Best By July 2021, Best By Oct 2021, and Best By Nov 2021” label affixed to them. Blendtopia smoothies were distributed nationwide and is through online retailers.
“Food safety is our highest priority, and we’re committed to assuring consumers can have full confidence in our products,” says Blendtopia founder Tiffany Taylor.
No other products made by Blendtopia products are affected. Consumers should stop consuming the product immediately and return them to place of purchase. Consumers with questions can call the company at 844-260-8181 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
