Recently, there was a consumer class action lawsuit filed against Trader Joe’s, on behalf of their Ts & Js Sour Gummies product. The Ts & Js Gummies lawsuit alleges that Trader Joe’s implies, misleadingly, that their Ts & Js Sour Gummies are made with natural ingredients, and fail to share that the Ts & Js gummies contain artificial ingredients. The Ts & Js Gummies Class Action Lawsuit was filed in state court in March 2018 but was recently transferred to federal court early this month (May 2018).
The Ts & Js Sour Gummies Class Action Complaint states that Trader Joe’s packaging, labeling, and advertising scheme is intended to give consumers the impression that they are buying a premium, all natural product with only natural flavoring instead of a product that is artificially flavored.
