Stop & Shop Graham Crackers Class Action Lawsuit
A Stop & Shop Graham Cracker Class Action was filed in New York over the brand’s Honey Graham Crackers. The packaging shows that honey is the only and primary sweetener for the product, although plaintiffs are claiming that these snacks are primarily made from sugar, and only use a very small amount of honey!
The reasoning for these complaints likely stem from the recent food & drink trend of little or no added sugars, for health purposes. Consumers also often pay more to get these healthier options, and are being ripped off if the product does not reflect its packaging!
Better Options, Better Health
As people opt for healthier food choices, they tend to pay more for products that can help them attain the lifestyle they prefer.
To that end, the plaintiffs in this case were surprised that upon looking at the product’s ingredients, sugar is placed before honey, leading us to believe that the crackers contain don’t contain much honey at all.
