It has been announced that there are ongoing investigations into Cuisinart and Maxi-Matic Pressure Cookers after numerous reports have shown that consumers have had their pressure cookers explode outward after opening the lid. This issue is thought to be due to a product defect, and attorneys are working to see if there is a potential Pressure Cooker Class Action on the rise.
This issue may be relatively widespread among other Pressure Cookers as well. Cuisinart and Maxi-Matic are the leading brands in the investigation, but multiple brands are said to have suffered from the same design issue.
