There was a consumer class action lawsuit filed against Ornua Foods North America, Inc. (Kerrygold Butter) under allegations that the company falsely advertised that their butter was made with milk from grass fed cows. These allegations within the Kerrygold Butter Lawsuit led many consumers to believe that the butter was in fact healthier than it is. The Kerrygold Butter, instead, is made with milk from cows that are fed grain, soy, corn, and genetically modified grains.
