Filed by Pennsylvania’s Attorney General, the Great Philadelphia Comic Con! Refund Class Action Lawsuit is a case brought up against Great Conventions LLC and company manager Christopher Wertz.

The Keystone State is taking the event company to court for reportedly making potentially illegal and harmful business practices that were being a cause of inconvenience for Pennsylvania residents.

The Great Philadelphia Comic Con! event was originally scheduled to take place from the 3rd to the 5th of April 2020 in the Philadelphia Expo Center located in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Admission tickets to the event were sold for a minimum of $30 to $225 each.

Promising ticket buyers that the event was still a go, the company assured the public that the event would still push through at a later date as soon as it was safe to conduct the event. Nevertheless, despite the promise made, the event was moved to several dates, and tickets were not refunded.
