Consider The Consumer concerns itself with the news of consumer fraud. Many of our pieces will offer an opinion on behalf of its writer/editor, which you may or may not agree with. If you disagree we’d love to hear from you, or better yet, be transparent and start a conversation in our comment section. The information we provide on the website is accurate and true to the best of our knowledge, but of course, mistakes are going to be made so if you see one, please let us know — we will do our best to rectify them.

The content published on this site is directly from a staff member unless noted otherwise. If content or stories are taken from a third party, we will make mention of that, and try to include a direct link back to their website or point of contact. We strive to give credit where due.  We try to engage the legal community to encourage action where applicable but we are not attorneys which means we can’t give you any legal advice.  Sometimes we may forward your contact information to attorneys we are working with, but never to any other third party.  Sometimes attorneys we work with will sponsor certain of our posts for which we will ask for compensation in return.

Our published information is intended to assist consumers to make informed choices and decisions, engage the legal community when it makes sense, and encourage the two to more fully engage with each other.  We ask that this information is not used to advertise or promote a company’s product or service. We also, of course, reserve the right to change how we manage or run this website. We will do our best to notify readers of any major changes that occur.
