CMS Covid-19 Mandate Class Action Lawsuit – Federal Health Workers Against President Joe Biden’s Jab…

Court Blocks Federal Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate On Government-Sponsored CMS Health Workers

A Lousiana federal court has halted the White House’s attempt to impose Covid-19 vaccine mandate on government healthcare employees under its CMS jurisdiction.

Lousiana Court Judge Orders The Halting Of COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

District Judge Terry A. Doughty of the District Court for the Western District of Louisiana announced the release of a preliminary injunction order. It states that President Joe Biden’s federal leadership cannot move forward with implementing the COVID-19 vaccine requirement.

The order covers workers in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that encompass more than ten million healthcare professionals. According to the latest figures, it is said that around 2.4 million of the workers remain unvaccinated against COVID-19.

The COVID-19 vaccine mandate is meant to have CMS employees have their full vaccinations in early January 2022. Not being able to comply with the order could lead to termination.

The latest news is seen as a welcome victory for the state of Louisiana and others, including Kentucky, Montana, Ohio, Arizona, West Virginia, Alabama, Utah, Georgia, South Carolina, Idaho, Oklahoma, Indiana, and Mississippi.

Legal observers suggest that any appeal that will be raised with regards to Judge Doughty’s order will be forwarded to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, a higher appellate court.
