Tractor Transmission Fluid Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
Consumers who bought Martin or Orscheln tractor transmission fluid may be qualified to receive from a $450,000 settlement.
According to reports, the beneficiaries of the said settlement are those who bought:
- Martin 303 Tractor Hydraulic & Transmission Fluid in Missouri since April 5, 2014
- Orscheln Premium 303 Tractor Hydraulic & Transmission Fluid in Missouri from Orscheln Farm and Home LLC retail locations between May 25, 2013, and Sept. 2, 2014.
The plaintiffs for the tractor transmission fluid class action lawsuit asserted that Martin and Orscheln tractor fluid could result in damages to engines and equipment. However, Martin Lubricants reportedly failed to inform consumers about the possibilities for damage to drive spiral gears, excess wear, seal leakage, high pump leakage, and damage from deposits, sludging, and thickening.
Despite the allegations, Martin Lubricants didn’t admit to any wrongdoing. However, they agreed to settle the claims in a $450,000 class action settlement. In this deal, the company will let all parties resolve the claims and provide benefits without the risks and costs of continuing to litigate the issue.
