By Consider The Consumer on 09/23/2020
The Prevagen Class Action Settlement
Eligible consumers of Quincy Bioscience’s Prevagen products can receive refunds of up to $70. Quincy Bioscience has faced a lawsuit that alleges the company misrepresented its Prevagen products. The class action lawsuit claims that the company falsely claimed that its product supports brain health and helps with memory loss. Thus, the company agreed on the new Prevagen Class Action Settlement.
The individuals who will benefit in this settlement are the consumers who bought one or more Prevagen products from Quincy Bioscience or an authorized retailer between Jan. 1, 2007, and July 21, 2020.

What You Need To Know
The plaintiffs in this class action lawsuit asserted that the company deliberately misrepresented their products. The company falsely claimed that their products can help with brain health and lessen memory loss, the lawsuit says. These misrepresentations were said to be utilized as marketing tactics for the following products:
- Prevagen Regular Strength 30 Count
- Prevagen Regular Strength Chewables
- Prevagen Regular Strength 60 Count
- Prevagen Extra Strength 30 Count
- Prevagen Extra Strength Chewables
- Prevagen Extra Strength 60 Count
- Prevagen Professional Strength
The Prevagen Settlement
Despite the allegation, Quincy Bioscience denied any wrongdoing. However, they agreed to settle the claims through a settlement. In this deal, the eligible Class Members will receive refunds for 30% of their purchases. The payments will be capped at $70 with proof of purchase or $12 without proof of purchase.
Aside from the refunds, Quincy Bioscience also agreed to refrain from marketing its products as able to support aging brain health and improve memory loss.
To be eligible for the settlement, Class Members should submit a valid claim form by Oct. 26, 2020. Attaching the proof of purchase is highly encouraged to a higher payout.
The last day for any exclusion and objection from the settlement is on October 27, 2020. Meanwhile, the final approval hearing was set on November 17, 2020.
