Class Action Lawsuit Settlements of Great Value and Market Pantry Coffee

A consortium of coffee drinkers filed a class action lawsuit against a group of coffee manufacturers due to allegedly mislabeling each packet of their coffee.

Accusations Over Great Value and Market Pantry Coffee

Great Value, Market Pantry, and other related brands received lawsuits over alleged mislabeled coffee packets. According to the plaintiffs, the labels indicated that buyers could brew specific amounts of coffee in each packet, but the cup numbers were inflated.

The plaintiffs said that they relied on the products’ labels when they made their purchase decision. The class action lawsuit blamed the defendants for unjust enrichment, breach of warranty, violations of Missouri, California, and Florida consumer protection laws, and Uniform Commercial Code.
